OUR CHURCH
Maranatha is an evangelical Christian Church located in the city of Toronto. A church dedicated to reaching the lost with the gospel coming from the word of God. The church first began as a prayer meeting, consisting of people from Congo DRC meeting in a apartment. Since that time, it has developed into a church, with a pastoral team, elders, deacons and discipled leaders. The Lord is using Maranatha Evangelical Christian Church to preach the gospel and make disciples, as commissioned by Jesus Christ in Matthew 28:16-20
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to biblically present Jesus Christ from the Biblical teachings as the true living and Eternal Lord and Savior of humanity; equipping the Church to know Him and serve Him better as His disciples until His return.
OUR VISION
Our Vision at Maranatha E.C.C. is winning as many souls as possible and transforming lives for Jesus Christ, by giving them the True and Right knowledge of the Word of God and making them disciples of Jesus Christ. It’s also leading the people of God in true love and the fear of the Lord God through faith to be ready by grace for the return of our Messiah Jesus Christ.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe in One God that works in three persons, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe in Jesus Christ as the son the God, who came on earth, died for our sins and rose again to heaven on the third day.
We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ as The King of Kings for the glory of the Father.
We believe in the rapture of the Church and the Resurrection of the dead
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Healer and the Savior of sinner’s lives
We believe in miracles, signs and wonders in the name of Jesus Christ
We believe in the Holy Ghost as well as the Fire of the Holy Ghost
We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and speaking in diverse tongues
